Re: 10 reasons you should play Wizardry 8 after Grimrock:

Coincidentally, I re-installed Wizardry 8 last week but haven't got around to starting it yet.
I also have on my games shelf "The Ultimate Wizardry Archives" which comprises Wizardry 1 - 7 & Wizardry Gold.

Re: change difficulty ?

You can select easy/normal/hard combat option at start of a game - you cannot change difficulty during game - you would have to restart with a new party. There is also an "old school" mode (no in-game map)

Re: With regret

Hey maybe this is not a game for you tho. I meant dont push your self. A game suppose to be enjoyable not put someone in stress. Maybe try take it easy and play on easy mode for a while. IF still not working out, then move on and find a different game :) I am/was enjoying the game as I have previou...

Re: With regret

Let me explain myself - the only reason I'm being in opposition here is because I wouldn't want the devs of this gem to be sidetracked from possibly making DLC content and fixing current specific existing issues in favor of catering to a very slim crowd that has issues with how such a game is contr...

Re: With regret

Where did I ask the developers to deviate from their intentions? I admitted that I had problems coping with the combat style required to succeed at the game & maybe my basic skills are not all the should be but some of us not "blessed" the way you obviously are. That should not stop m...

Re: With regret

I don't think much has to be said about the good old "l2p". It's not a hidden object adventure, it's not Dear Esther, it's an oldschool dungeon with a modern twist - you are expected to have at least basic control skills to play it. If you don't have those, you must be suffering in many o...

With regret

It is with great regret that I may have to stop playing LoG. I've been playing in normal mode & have managed to reach the end of level 3 by luring the mob/mobs to a door/gate I can close & going toe to toe until one is dead then close the door/heal up/open door - rinse & repeat. I know t...
