Re: Dungeon Editor Progress

Let me know one thing. How much of those 11 euros Steam demand go to AH? I bought Grimrock on GOG, but I would buy it again on steam if at least 90% of the price would go into AH's pockets. If you buy the game from Grimrock.net the sale is fulfilled by Humble Bundle, which gives most/all of the mon...

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress

both the workshop and nexus are free services provided to all of us If the workshop is accessible by everyone for free then I take back my words. From what I understood, it's restricted to steam-clients, though. Oops well, not quite. It's free to steam users xD So it's 'free' after you 'paid' steam...

Re: Any plans for an expansion yet?

When the map editor is released I'm not even going to touch it, I would much prefer to hit a button and just play. The idea about the editor is not that you're going to make your own maps and then play them. It's that you either make maps for others to play, or play the maps that others have made. ...

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress

Well, if you really want a lot of people to play your map, just post it to both places. A lot of people will probably only use one or the other. The problem is that non-steam users cannot post it on both places, because they cannot post it on steam. Having others post stuff on steam for you is not ...

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress

To the abyss with nexus... I use steam for games, like LOG, Skyrim and so on, and when a mod only were available on the nexus... *shudder* I didn't bother with that mod. Simply put, I will not be going to any nexus page for LOG... but, a steam comunity page? well... better for me then one I would n...

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress

I thought I would show some initiative and make a steam group. I was actually a bit surprised not to see one dedicated to dungeon creation this close to its release. I will be very active and will appoint officers as I see fit. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/LOGDE# I hope the group will grow into...

Re: How are art assets used in the engine?

Check through the blogs. There's several posts about graphics and one specifically about wallsets.

As for the asset use, AH is going to include most of the models as external files, available for modifying and including in your mod. For more information, check the thread at the top of this page.
