I never meant to imply that they were not immortal at any particular time. What I meant to say was that, going on a (personal) hunch, maybe the inner sanctum kept them immortal.

I've really enjoyed playing four mages with this game. It's an interesting challenge. Has anyone else finished the game with four pure spellcasters?

First time through, I went with the standard party.

Second time through:

Figher - Human - Light Armor - Sword
Fighter - Minotaur - Evasion - Maces - Hit Points Galore
Rogue - Human - Evasion - Daggers - Assassination
Mage - Human - Wands & Orbs - Spellcraft - Air Magick

Seriously, I could not fathom for the life of me that the developers within the near future would not add the option(s) of allowing less than a four (4) character team. Not to mention, Ironman and Permadeath playing styles. This game is almost "screaming" for these add-ons.

Toorum disguised as a monster would've been amusing. Actually, I would've loved to see that. I wonder if some of the other Goromorgs noticed that he may have appeared a little... "short". Long hood; where would be the Illithids?
