Re: Cant get passed "you will be hunted" room
They do respawn? Well, that explains something. ;) Tbh I never had any problems. Isolate them, pelt them with arrows and a spell or two and they are easy as cake. I cleared the whole dungeon with only some reloads (was too thrifty to heal up beforehand, so one of my guys was at 10hp when I entered)....

Re: Vault of the dismantler
When I load up the game, I also start the browser and load up the gamebanshee-site, tbh. But this I do because I do not know wether I will have time for another play-through and I like exploring much more then riddle-solving. But I know others are different there, therefore my word of caution. The g...

Re: Vault of the dismantler
Well, remember the walk-about in lvl7, where you first encountered the tentacle monster and were flanked by an Uggardian? The place were you could find a flail? Well, somewhere there is some rune on the wall, you might have overlooked. It opens up an entrance to the vault somewhere in that walkabou...

Re: The Rogue Party
Interesting setup, but why use points on dodge? AFAIK it does not raise your evasion when leveled up, except for the occasional bonus. And fist-fighting offers a +20 evasion bonus at lvl30, which is more than what you get from dodge itself. Did I overlook something? I am currently running with an un...

Re: Any point in not taking swords?
Well, I like my unarmed rogue build actually better than my warrior sword build. The former gets hit rather rarely, has a low cool-down and hits sufficiently hard (only 20% less than the sword guy with a cutlass).
Though I haven't found any good unarmed weapons yet.

Re: Workings of Spellcraft?
Actually I had been checking casting costs before and after spending points in spellcraft. Fire was around lvl4 and I raised spellcraft from around 2-3 to 6-7 (I guess) and firebolt(?) costs dropped from 20 to 10, taken from the numbers in the char sheet, not the blue bar in the icon. BUT you could ...

Re: Please patch the Exp System
Since the lag of some party members should rarely be more than 5% and the exp-requirements go up steeply, all party members will end up the same level, while some will be there five minutes earlier and some later. Besides, one level more or less does not really make that big a difference, does it?

Re: Workings of Spellcraft?
Thx for you answer.
Then I was mistaken when I thought I had seen spellcraft reduce casting costs. What a pity. Energy is too scarce, arrows and fists are too abundant.

Workings of Spellcraft?
I had been wondering ... I had the impression that raising spellcraft diminishes the costs of spells, but had not been able to replicate that for my high-lvl-air-mage, while for some low-lvl mage the cost of a firebolt was reduced 50% by upping spellcraft a bit. Do the relative lvl of the magic and ...

Re: Opinions after two playthroughs [minor spoilers]
So what does the Three Point Strike Technique actually do?
(Do I have to back away seven steps from the target hit and then its and instant kill?)
