Re: 10 hours? Ha-ha, good one!

In game timer for some reason seems really slow/low. I could swear I have quite a few more hours into this game then what it shows. The game timer is actual in-game time. If you play for two hours and die without saving, your last save won't show those two hours. That explains why I only got 15 hou...

Re: For those that beat the game. Let's get some basic stats

1) Official 15:01 on hard, with automap (wrote 15,5 in another thread, but that was a mistake, my latest save got lost so I added 30 minutes to the other one - turns out I only needed around 200 damage on the boss to finish, not 30 minutes). Real time, probably the same. Lots of back-tracking though...

Re: soooo, who lights the torches?

Good question :) I asked the same question in Skyrim, but there you can make it more realistic with a darkness mod. Don't think it would work well in this game though, but would be interesting to try! It's also interesting that torches seem to burn forever on walls, but burn out when you take them! ...

Re: Speedrun - let's brainstorm!

Excellent, totally forgot about invisibility.

Think I'm gonna do an easy run just taking notes where important stuff is and try different strats out. Will definitely bring an air-mage with me.

Re: 10 hours? Ha-ha, good one!

Finished it in 15,5 hours on hard and I looked at every single wall and got stuck a few times. Found all notes from that guy, 5 skulls, 5 treasures, 8 iron doors and 53 secrets. I guess I gained speed from killing stuff efficiently. I always try to do stuff as fast as I can and I am SO glad it's pla...

Re: Average Age ...

25 here. Was too young to play these games, but have tried and enjoyed Wizardry and Shining in the Darkness for the Sega Genesis. Also loved Dark Spire and Etrian Oddysey for the Nintendo DS. Never played a real time, grid based dungeon crawler before but I really really love it. I also remember get...

Re: Eath Magic

My mage was behind in experience in the beginning too, but he was second in total exp at the end, behind my throwing rogue. My axe-fighter which leveled up before everyone else in the beginning had the least at the end (I messed up him up though, he mostly just missed all the time). It pretty much b...

Speedrun - let's brainstorm!

Okay, so I just finished the game on hard with this party: Human - Fighter Axe/Athletics/Armor Human - Rogue - Unarmed/Dodge Human - Rogue - Throwing (some in assasin once i reached max) Insectoid - Mage - Poison/Spellcraft and some points in fire (even though i rarely used it) In this thread I want...
