Looks awesome guys! Just a question, do you plan to release some lore alongside with the game? Or there will be lore, just exclusively in the game only?

    • juho says:

Do you mean something like comics or novels? Probably no because we have our hands full of work with the game itself. But the game will include some hints of the realms outside Grimrock ;).

Personally I’m hoping that some day we could do “Art of Grimrock” book. I’d be so cool. Sigh ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Valaki says:

Nah, of course I didn’t mean whole books or even artworks. Just some text, what is this whole world, who are we, what are we fighting for, where are we, who’s the enemy. Some background information, that’s all. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • petri says:

Yes, we’re going to talk about the world and the characters in the blog. Stay tuned!

I know it’s early for such a question but… are you planning to release this baby boxed or download only ? To stay on focus with the previous one, if you’re looking for someone willing to translate your stuff in to French language, I’m on the market ;o)

Gorgeous ! Hrmm, ok maybe that’s the wrong word for a hulking green beast that is going to be trying to play whack a mole on my head. But, you get the idea. Great job, and I love the idea of your old styled RPG. Keep up the great work.

Thanks. We use Autodesk Softimage (aka. XSI) for animations and rigging and for modeling we use Modo and ZBrush.

Looks very impressive, but why does he look up at the ceiling at the same time as he seems to swing his weapon downwards? That doesn’t look right…

    • Olli says:

Thanks for your feedback ๐Ÿ™‚ I see what you mean. The reason is that it actually looks better from a first person perspective. But I will look into that in the next iteration for that monster.
